Artiflex® Bandage, Non-Woven

Artiflex® Bandages are a simple way to make compression devices more comfortable by eliminating pressure points caused by sensitive, bony, or irregular shaped areas of the body during lymphedema therapy. Artiflex® Bandages evenly distribute pressure to reduce irritation under compression. It also adds protection to the skin for individuals with latex allergies.

Like many Wound Care Bandages, the Artiflex® Bandages provides comfortable protection for sensitive areas, but unlike some others the Artiflex is non-absorbent and air permeable to allow for breath ability and reduce irritation caused by moisture. For this reason, it's used in hospitals to wrap limbs before a plaster cast is set. The material's air permeable construction keeps skin dry and comfortable which is helpful in humid climates.
